Hook, Line, and a Lake Full of Adventure!
Peoria, Arizona in March is a prime time to take advantage of the mild weather and head out for some excellent fishing at Lake Pleasant Regional Park. I was excited to guide Susan McClellan and another guest on a 5 Hour Trip two or more with No Limit Fishing - it's always a good time when we get to show folks the best of what this area has to offer.
We met up bright and early at 7:00 am and got our gear loaded up. The day was shaping up to be clear and comfortable, perfect for a productive day on the water. As we headed out, I knew we were in for some great light tackle, deep sea, and trolling opportunities to target a variety of species. It didn't take long before the rods started bending, and we were reeling in some nice White catfish and Striped bass. The fish were really active, and we had a blast working different techniques to find where they were holding.
The whole trip had a great energy to it. Susan and her guest were really engaged, asking lots of questions and soaking up everything they could about the local fishing scene. In between catching fish, we got to enjoy the beautiful lake views and take in the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect mix of exciting action and laid-back enjoyment out on the water.
